Visit the IAMCR website IAMCR maintains this list for announcements of interest to IAMCR members and the global media and communication research community. Postings to the list can include: (-|-) IAMCR official news and announcements: Notices of IAMCR activities, publications, reports, meetings, etc.. (-|-) External news & announcements: News of IAMCR members' international events, external events, requests for information, new publications, job postings, etc. English is the list's principle language. Posts in French or Spanish should include a brief explanation of the content in English. The list is for the promotion of events of international interest and reach. Consider carefully whether this list is appropriate for your event before posting. An international conference you are planning for 6 months from now on a topic of general interest is. A seminar to be held at your university in 3 days is not. Do not include attachments with your message. Please consider including a URL linking to your website or document. The list is lightly moderated. All messages are approved before being distributed to ensure relevance and adhesion to the list policies. Messages will typically be distributed only once, regardless of repeated submissions or variations of the same message. Messages must be addressed specifically and uniquely to the list. Messages sent with announcements in BCC or addressed to other addresses in addition to the list may not be distributed. Messages sent from email addresses not subscribed to the list are automatically rejected. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the announcements Archives. Using announcements
To post a message to all the list members, send email to announcements@broadcast.iamcr-list.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to announcements
Subscribe to announcements by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
